THE GIRL FROM IPANEMA

I walk demurely with my bottom and hips in a straight line.

Do you suppose the ladies who swing their hips as they walk lose more weight—and have better digestion?

If you suddenly see me sashaying down the street in high heels, you’ll know why!

  1. I'm not a swisher either, but I am a fidgeter. How do you like Aidan's book? I enjoyed them a lot!

  2. Well, I've been looking into T-Tapp, and according to her, you need to tighten those tummy and butt muscles while you walk, and you will definitely lose inches, if not pounds!

  5. No, now I'm reading The Family Fortune by Laurie Horowitz. (take-off on Persuasion) A lot less intellectual, but I like it because it follows the plot of the original pretty closely. We have to do everything by interlibrary loan here, so it will be a while before I can get Aidan #2.
