The Big Read reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books they’ve printed.

  3. Yeah, Wuthering Heights is a downer, isn't it? And I stopped with the first Pullman book about a third of the way in, something I rarely do.

  4. Hope you like The Curious Incident. I'm not sure everyone will, but the book reminds me a lot of my Miss Dog Lover so it is a great one for me. I am off to the library tomorrow to get The Life of Pi (that title just gets me) and also the Swallows and Amazons one, I'm told I need to read it, too.And I'm almost 5 foot 3 if I stretch.
