THE WEIGHT OF WATER


I’m toting a full water bottle in my backpack.  Oh, it’s so heavy!

I decide that some of it has gotten to be rid of, in order to lighten the load.

So I drink it.

    I think it rather odd that by transferring the weight from one place to another causes us to think that the load was lightened.  So true, so true.
